A Perth couple forced to take desperate measures to escape a terrifying blaze at their Bali hotel are warning holidaymakers to check their lodgings for ***** exits, saying they had no way to get out.

Mark “Tom” Thomas and Kate Shaw had booked just one night at Padangbai Beach Inn on the island’s southeast coast and it’s one they’ll remember for all the wrong reasons.
