Lotterywest: Chance for West Australians to become millionaires following a $20 million Superdraw

A West Aussie could become Australia’s newest multimillionaire in Saturday’s huge Lotto draw.

An eye-watering $20 million is up for grabs in the Superdraw, with Lotterywest expecting ticket sales to spike as residents get excited for the chance to win a life-changing amount.

WA has been home to a few Saturday Superdraw winners, with a network syndicate taking home a share in a $5 million division one prize in May.

The May draw also saw twelve WA players secure a division two prize of more than $14,000.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said 500 tickets are expected to be sold every minute.

“We’re expecting ticket sales to peak between 11 am and 12 pm today, with around 500 tickets sold each minute,” Wender said.

“This year 26 West Aussies have taken home a division one prize, sharing more than $32 million in prizes. Of these winners, 13 wins have been thanks to Saturday Lotto.

“Imagine jetting off to Paris for the Olympics following a life-changing win, or even better, celebrating that win as a syndicate of family, friends, or work colleagues.”

All available profits from Superdraw tickets sold go back into the WA community through grants.
