Perth traffic: Crashes on Kwinana Freeway cause major delays, congestion

Traffic on Kwinana Freeway came to a standstill on Saturday after a car and motorcycle collided south of the city.

The Harley motorbike rider, a woman aged in her 50s, suffered minor injuries in the ****** that occurred just before Rowley Road.

St John was called to the scene about 10.50am and took the woman to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment.

Despite the incident occurring in the southbound lane, traffic was slow in both directions.

The ****** was cleared just after noon, however, there are still subsequent delays on the southern stretch after a breakdown near Beeliar Drive, Atwell.

Another ****** also occurred about 12.30pm when two cars collided on the Kwinana Freeway north at Leach Highway in Brentwood.
