Morley house *****: Arson squad releases CCTV of people possibly linked to ***** *******

Police from the arson squad have released footage of two men as part of their ongoing investigation into a deliberately lit blaze that caused $600,000 in damage to a family home.

Two people of interest have been captured lighting a broom on ***** before throwing it into the carport of a home on Fitzgerald Road, Morley, on July 5, 2023.

Around 4 am, the carport lit up as the two ********** ran away. It is understood two adults and a child managed to flee the house safely.

Police say the ***** spread to the home, while also causing extensive damage to two vehicles. The damage bill is estimated to be around $600,000.

Over a year later, arson squad investigators have released CCTV of a man filling up a red car — who they say may be able to assist with their investigation.

Other CCTV provided by police shows two men pushing either a dirtbike or bicycle into a trailer.

Anyone who recognises the men pictured, or either of the vehicles, is urged to call ****** stoppers on 1800 333 000.

People who provide information that could lead to the identification of an arsonist could receive a reward of up to $25,000.
