Karratha resident captures spectacular footage of humpback whale breaching off Pilbara coast

A Karratha resident has captured one of the amazing wildlife spectacles of the Pilbara, recording a huge humpback whale breaching the surface of the ocean while on a fishing and scuba diving trip off the Pilbara coast.

Patricia Raulf captured the footage on July 14, and said while she had seen many whales while on boat trips off the coast of the Pilbara, she had never witnessed a breaching as spectacular as the one she managed to capture.
