Four million people across Sydney and parts of regional NSW could experience maintenance delays as Ausgrid electrical contractors plan to walk off the job.

About 1600 Electrical Trades Union (ETU) Ausgrid workers are planning strike action for August 1 after a breakdown in negotiations over wages.
