Ο πρωθυπουργός του Ισραήλ, Μπενιαμίν Νετανιάχου, έφθασε στον Λευκό Οίκο για συνάντηση με τον πρόεδρο των ΗΠΑ, Τζο Μπάιντεν, στην οποία πρέπει να συζητήσουν για τις διαπραγματεύσεις για τη Γάζα. Η συνάντηση πραγματοποιήθηκε σε πολύ καλό κλίμα, με τον Νετανιάχου να ευχαριστεί τον Μπάιντεν για την υποστήριξη προς το Ισραήλ. Ο πρωθυπουργός εξέφρασε τη χαρά του για την συνεργασία τους και τόνισε πως ανυπομονεί να εργαστεί μαζί του στο μέλλον. Την επόμενη μέρα, μετά την ομιλία του στο Κογκρέσο, ο Νετανιάχου κατέβηκε από ένα αυτοκίνητο με ισραηλινές και αμερικανικές σημαίες, χωρίς να κάνει δηλώσεις στα μέσα ενημέρωσης. Η συνάντηση Νετανιάχου-Μπάιντεν φέρνει ελπίδες για περαιτέρω συνεργασία μεταξύ των δύο χωρών σε σχέση με την εξέλιξη της κατάστασης στη Γάζα.
