***** crews are still on the scene of a major structure ***** in Armadale.

The ***** started at a mechanics workshop on Keates Road just after 10.45am on Wednesday .

“The ***** at a mechanics workshop is blowing smoke in a south-westerly direction,” the latest DFES alert says.

“There is no direct threat to lives or homes.

“The ***** has been contained and is under control.”

As a precautionary measure, people in the area should remain inside, out of the smoke and fumes with doors and windows closed.

Air conditioners should be switched off.

The cause of the blaze is not known.
