is reporting the aircraft came down in the Douglas Daly region and was part of the Royal *********** Airforce’s Pitch ****** exercise, which is running until August 2 this year.

Pitch ******, which brings together 20 participating nations, operates between the RAAF bases in Darwin and Tindal in the NT as well as Amberley, near Ipswich in Queensland.

The reports are yet to be officially confirmed and the status of the aircraft and the pilot are unknown.
