FIRST LOOK: Seven releases teaser trailer for The Voice Australia 2024

Seven has released a first-look at this year’s blockbuster season of The Voice.

This year the reality singing competition — now in its 13th season — is having a shake-up, introducing superstar international coaches, ********* Idol 2009 runner-up Adam Lambert and country sensation LeAnn Rimes, who will star alongside returning coach Guy Sebastian and singer/songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke.

They’re going all-out to uncover Australia’s next singing sensation — and by the looks of this teaser clip, they’re on their way to uncovering some captivating new talent.

“I’ve never seen anything like that,” Sebastian says after one audition, while Rimes was brought to tears, declaring that she had “goosebumps from the moment you opened your mouth.”

As the competition intensifies, audiences will see the coaches “passionately compete” to mentor the finest voices in Australia.

For Miller-Heidke, who joins the show for the first time this year, her first foray into television has been an “awesome” experience, even if she admits she was at first quite trepidatious.

“When (Seven) they first approached me about it, I was I was quite surprised — but in a good way,” she told Perth Now earlier this year.

“It didn’t take me long at all to decide it was the right thing — I just felt excited.

“I have a lifelong obsession with singing and what it takes to be a good singer.”

The Voice Australia returns to Seven this August.
