Gnowangerup star Timm House selected for WA Country football side to take on South Australia

Gnowangerup player-coach and former Geelong-listed player Timm House has been selected to represent the 2024 New Holland Country Men’s WA State team to take on South Australia this weekend.

House was a shining light in Ongerup’s gloomy Nutrien Ag Solution Country Football Championships division two campaign earlier this month with vital stints in defence and the forward line.

Selected alongside fellow Great Southern representative Bailey Taylor (Albany), the pair will gear up for the ****** Swans against South Australia on Sunday at Adelaide Oval with bouncedown set for 11.20am.

Ongerup won just one of their four games, yet House was outstanding and his superb tournament was awarded with all-star selection.

The 195cm key position player returned home to the Kennel this season to join his brother Fraser after an injury interrupted 2023 season at Claremont last year.

House managed just two reserves games in the injury-plagued season following on from a league grand final loss with the Tigers in 2022.

Having opted to return home to the family farm and play for the Bulldogs in 2024, they have become clear flag favourites winning their first nine matches of the season and clinching the minor premiership.

House was drafted to the Cats with pick No.68 in the 2016 AFL draft before he was delisted at the end of the 2018 season without playing an AFL game.
