Police have charged a 27-year-old man with ******* following the ****** of his 23-year-old ex-partner who police allege was mowed down by his new girlfriend.

Kiesha Thompson had just dropped her daughter off at daycare and was walking on a footpath on Allamanda Dr in the Logan suburb of Daisy Hill, 24km south of Brisbane, when she was allegedly deliberately struck by a silver Toyota Prado about 9am on Friday.
