US rapper Travis Scott to bring Circus Maximus World Tour to Australia

Internationally acclaimed hip hop superstar Travis Scott is bringing his sell out tour down under after achieving record sales overseas.

The US rapper will perform three shows of his hugely successful ‘Circus Maximus World Tour’ in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from October 17.

The shows will be held at Allianz Stadium on the 17th, Marvel Stadium on the 22nd and Suncorp Stadium on the 26th.

The *********** leg of the tour will kick start after his newly announced performances through South America, including Santiago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro and will come before a final show in Auckland, New Zealand.

“South America and Australia, what are we doing? I’ve been wanting to bring an actual tour there forever. Now let’s get it,” he wrote.

Others said they have been waiting their “whole life for this” moment.

“Been waiting on Melbourne for so long I’m coming,” another said.

But other Aussie fans were left disappointed the star would only be visiting three cities, with some questioning why Perth and Adelaide would miss out.

“Typical Perth gets left out,” one person said.

Presale tickets will be available on Monday before general sales begin on August 2.

Scott is currently performing on the ********* and ******* Kingdom leg of his tour, with more than 270,000 fans attending the first 11 shows.

The North ********* leg included 44 sold out stops in 2023 and early 2024 and landed the tour as the highest grossing rap tour, making nearly $27 million.

The music giant is also the first ********* hip hop artist to sell 200,000 tickets in one year across three shows in Italy.

The worldwide tour comes after Scott’s 2021 performance at an Astroworld Festival in Houston Texas, where 10 people were ******* in a stampede.

The victims were reportedly aged between nine and 27.

In 2023 a grand jury reportedly declined to indict Scott and five other people, including the manager of the festival.

Scott previously dated ********* celebrity Kylie Jenner and is the father of her two children.
