Man refused appeal over fatal strike with rifle *****

A man who was jailed for fatally striking a father-of-two with a rifle ***** has been denied leave to appeal his sentence.

Ethan Maurice McPherson pleaded guilty in April 2023 to unlawful striking leading to the ****** of David Murphy at Springfield Lakes, southwest of Brisbane.
