Specialized Biometal drops from two specific Zone Recon Missions in the Hagios region. They drop from normal and hard difficulties. Here are the two Zone Recon Missions:

• Dune Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost
• Forward Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost

There are other Zone Recon Missions in the Hagios regions, but they won’t drop the Specialized Biometal. You only have two choices, but what makes this hard is that they have a 5-minute cooldown before you can do them again.

Best Way to Farm Specialized Biometal

To bypass the 5-minute cooldown, you can do two things:

• Travel to a different waypoint on a different battlefield or region.
• Travel to any waypoint (even the same one you fast traveled to) while switching difficulty in the map menu.

The best way to farm Specialized Biometals is to mix in both strategies to bypass the Zone Recon Mission’s cooldown. Finish the Dune Base mission and switch to the Forward Base mission. Since they are on different battlefields, teleporting to each battlefield will reset the instance. However, some players might have already finished the mission when you transfer instances. You can switch the difficulty if both waypoints are on cooldown if you want. You can also switch your game to private in the map menu (next to the name of the region).
