The immigration detainee accused of bashing and robbing an elderly couple months after he was freed from indefinite detention ******** behind bars on remand while he faces a string of charges related to the alleged horrific incident.

Majid Jamshidi Doukoshkan appeared in the Perth Magistrate Court via video link from Albany Regional Prison on Monday over the violent home invasion of Perth couple Ninette, 73, and Philip, 76, Simons.
