4 Dallas firefighters injured after engine hydroplanes, falls off bridge

DALLAS – Four Dallas firefighters are in the hospital after their engine slid off an elevated roadway and landed on the DART tracks below.

The accident on the I-345 Expressway, which connects I-45 and US-75, and South Good Latimer happened just after 6 a.m.

Dallas police say the ***** engine hydroplaned, lost control and went off the bridge.

All four DFR members are said to be stable at Baylor University Medical Center.

A highway sign fell across the roadway as a result of the ******.

Traffic Alert: 345 at Live Oak major accident with traffic lanes blocked due to highway sign blocking lanes of traffic. Please avoid the area.

Parts of I-345, South Good Latimer, Routh Street and the DART tracks have been closed.
