Woodside grows US LNG footprint with $1.8b purchase of Texas-based Tellurian

Woodside Energy will expand its footprint in the US with the $US1.2 billion ($1.8b) purchase of LNG player Tellurian.

Woodside said it had secured a deal at $US1 a share for the Texas-based company which has entered the construction phases of its 27.6 million tonne-a-year Driftwood project near Lake Charles in Louisiana.
