Both the Eagles and the Dockers’ calls for fairer travel schedules during the footy season have received a major boost, with the State Government confirming it would back in a submission to the AFL.

The long-held gripe for WA’s teams has escalated into a crisis for the AFL, after the Dockers’ disastrous trip to Tasmania, where, following a loss to Hawthorn, the team’s chartered flight ran out of water, half an hour after taking off, forcing players and passengers to use sinks as toilets.
