Three deceased, one injured in tractor-trailer ****** on I-76 Eastbound in Lancaster County

PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal ****** that occurred on I-76 Eastbound in Penn Township this morning.

Pennsylvania State Police say they were dispatched to mile marker 268.8 on I-76 at around 4:24 a.m. this morning, where they encountered a two-vehicle ****** scene on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Police say the two vehicles involved were a car and a tractor-trailer.

Police reported that the incident was fatal, as three individuals in the car were pronounced ***** at the scene, and one individual from the tractor-trailer was injured. The injured occupant was immediately transported to Lancaster General Hospital.

According to a press release from the Lancaster County Coroner, the three occupants in the car were a 43-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, and a juvenile female.

511PA says the right shoulder is blocked on I-76 and delays are to be expected as of 11:01 a.m. today.

Police are investigating the cause of the ******. No word on the condition of the injured occupant at this time.
