***** by Daylight’s DLC Decision Enraging the Players as It’s Seemingly Nothing But Money-Grabbing

Behaviour Interactive is turning into a money-grabbing monster, mimicking one of their many villains from their isometric multiplayer, ***** by Daylight. Starting July 22, the prices for ***** by Daylight DLCs on PC will increase, ending the long-standing price discrepancy between PC and console versions.

While this comes as a surprise, fans are overwhelmingly reacting in disbelief and aren’t confident that the price hike is justifiable. Many argue that the price adjustment under the guise of promoting cross-progression is merely an excuse for raising prices.

***** by Daylight DLCs are Increasing in Price

***** by Daylight’s DLCs have often come under scrutiny and criticism among the community regarding their actual value. While the game does introduce new characters, maps, and cosmetics, many players feel these aren’t always that great.

Behaviour Interactive tends to mess up with perks and has stirred the game toward a pay-to-win direction. That said, killers are unlocked with real money while survivors and their perks demand heavy grind.

The price increase will affect several rather popular DLCs, including All Things Wicked, Sadako Rising, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Silent Hill, and Dungeons and Dragons. Each of these DLCs will see a price hike from $6.99 to $7.99.

All these DLCs bring in fan-favorite characters from the original licensed property and a map to match the theme. However, with the recent Tomb Raider update and Lara Croft’s inclusion in the game, these DLCs do not change the core of the gameplay, making the price hike feel undeserved.

Fans Are Unhappy with Behaviour Interactive

Fans of the isometric survival multiplayer have been overwhelmingly dissatisfied with Behaviour Interactive for quite some time. Now, with the price hike for ***** by Daylight PC DLCs to match the ***** by Daylight console DLCs prices the comments are more than negative.

One fan has said that he is turning to key resellers to get DLCs after the increase in prices, which directly addresses the discontent among players.

Another fan contrasted Behaviour Interactive’s strategy by saying that console prices should have been reduced instead of increasing PC DLCs prices.

Despite the backlash, a few players have adopted a more positive perspective, saying that the increase is a small price to pay for the benefits of cross-progression.

Nevertheless, the new cross-progression feature will connect platforms, which will allow players to continue their progress on both PC and console. This further means that all currencies, levels, and DLC will be synced across these platforms.

The community of the game is still strong as ***** by Daylight ******** highly popular. While the price hike might turn some players away, many will appreciate the benefits of cross-progression.
