Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 is one of the most popular games of 2024 but it’s safe to say that its hype quickly faded away. Without a doubt, the game is still entertaining but many players have left the game because it became boring and repetitive.

Some players who left the game are planning to return, but it seems like they’re struggling to get used to the new changes, which were rolled out in patch 1.000.400 last month. The community has made it easier for returning players by telling them what they need to do to catch up.

A player on the the game’s subreddit asked the community to give him some advice as he is planning to return to Helldivers 2 after two months. Certainly, a lot of things have changed in the past two months, particularly the weapons and Stratagems.

The patch 1.000.400 included changes to over 30 weapons and Stratagems in the game that were quite unpopular among the community. Arrowhead Game Studios was praised for the update as it made Helldivers 2 fun once again.

Stratagems like Spear, Orbital Gattling Barrage, and Anti-Materiel Rifle have been buffed up. Make sure you also try out the new Stratagem, Commando, as players have stated that it is extremely useful against both bugs and bots.

The developer was praised for the last premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, Viper Commandos, as its contents were quite different from what fans have got so far and naturally, the expectations for the next Warbond are high but it seems like the developers won’t disappoint.

Sony may have accidentally leaked the theme of the next Premium Warbond as the description for the current Viper Commandos Premium Warbond on the PlayStation store is completely different from what it actually should be. It says,

Dial up the temperature to cremate our enemies of justice, Helldivers! The Freedom’s Flame Premium Warbond is deploying to your Destroyer’s Acquisitions panel. Includes fiery weapons, life-saving armour, cool capes, fresh emotes, player cards, and patterns.

Arrowhead certainly has big plans for the game and hopefully, in the coming weeks, players also might get to see the game’s third rumored faction, the Illuminate.
