Track works mean buses to replace Prospector train in lead-up to big Kalgoorlie Cup race meeting

Race Round-goers from out of town will have one less travel option to the city for this year’s Kalgoorlie Cup, with planned rail works shutting down the Prospector train service in the lead-up to the event.

TransWA confirmed the Prospector, MerredinLink and AvonLink rail services would be disrupted from October 1 to 4 to allow various track works to be completed, including Midland station upgrade works as part of Metronet.
