released today, Nintendo announced that an epic Grand Festival Splatfest will launch in Splatoon 3 on September 12, 2024.

Nintendo’s announcement coincided with a new cinematic trailer, teasing a massive music festival. It elaborates that the event begins at 5 PM PT on September 12, and it will end at the same time on September 15, 2024.

The trailer description also describes Grand Festival as “the biggest Splatfest ever.” It intends to celebrate “the two-year anniversary” of the game. However, many fans speculate that Grand Festival could be the final new content coming to Splatoon 3.
