Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is available now on PC through Steam and Game Pass, and while it’s a fun title, it’s not in the most stable state. There are some technical issues in both versions like stuttering, lack of proper controller support, and an overall lack of stability. For now, if you’re running into any crashing while playing Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, here are a few things you can do to reduce and fix those.

Update GPU Drivers

Make sure you’re using the latest GPU drivers, especially if you haven’t updated those in a while. You can get the latest drivers for your GPU from the links below.

Verify Game Files

There’s a chance that some game files aren’t in order, which is why it’s recommended that you verify the installation files in either Steam or the Xbox App.

Steam

• Open Steam, and navigate to your library
• Here, right-click on Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and select Properties
• In the Installed Files tab, click on Verify integrity of game file

If any files are missing or corrupted, Steam will redownload those.

Xbox App
