Warzone Needs Some New Ideas as Latest Operator is Just Another Rehash No-one Cares For

Call of Duty: Warzone is about to get the new season with a ton of new content and all kinds of additions for the most loyal followers of the game.

The season will add new maps, new weapons, and a few visual updates to certain locations that will change the game’s graphics dynamics. Due to the repeated release of operators who ***** in the game’s original story, many believe it has run out of ideas.

Activision Should Consider Making Changes to the Seasonal Content of Call of Duty

Since its release last year, Modern Warfare 3 has not been the best-received game by fans due to its lack of original content. The franchise’s long-standing lack of a story mode further exacerbated this.

Even so, the studio decided to keep working hard on Call of Duty, adding content each new season. Activision officially announced that season 5 would arrive at the end of this month.

Warzone will also welcome this new season, which has already provided a preview of all the upcoming additions. Players’ response to the new content was less than favorable.

They discovered that one operator included in the new battle pass was a character who had perished in the game’s story mode. This is not the first time the studio has done something similar with a story mode character.

Warzone Needs to Review How It Presents Its Operators

The operator in question is one of the characters from Modern Warfare 3, known as Ivan Alexxeve, who will return as a playable character thanks to the new battle pass. In the past, one of the main characters also received this treatment and was available in the battle pass despite being ***** in the game.

The franchise doesn’t seem to stop doing this despite fans’ complaints. Obviously, when this was confirmed on social media, many users said it was a way for the studio to keep making money, among other negative comments.

Warzone should aim for more original content to avoid these complaints and achieve better reception every month. On the other hand, fans remain disappointed by the lack of a campaign for this latest franchise title.

A large portion of players are eagerly awaiting the release of the next title, ****** Ops 6, which is supposed to bring all kinds of changes to this IP. This fifth season will probably be one of the last, given that the next game will arrive in just four months or less.

This is no excuse for the studio to stop working on the premium content it offers its players. What are your thoughts on this operator’s return from the *****? Let us know in the comments!
