Aerospace officials intercepted two more aircraft Thursday afternoon during the *********** National Convention in Milwaukee for flying within the temporarily restricted flight zone.

on Tuesday. NORAD said Thursday’s incidents took place at about 3 and 5 p.m.

“In both cases, the general aviation aircraft were approximately 25 nautical miles west of Milwaukee and NORAD F-35 aircraft safely escorted them out of the area,” NORAD said.

During Thursday’s intercepts, the F-35 fighter jet was flying at approximately 3,000 feet and may have been visible from the ground.
