, a Hall of Famer who played for the New York Giants from 1981 to 1993, spent several hours in a Broward County jail this week after he was accused of failing to accurately file his current address as a registered **** offender.

Taylor, 65, was charged with one count of ******** to comply with the **** offender registry law.

He is supposed to report address changes due to a plea agreement in a 2010 incident in which he had **** with a 16-year-old who he said claimed to be 19 years old. Taylor pleaded guilty to ******* misconduct and **** with an underage ***********, both misdemeanors, and was sentenced to six years’ probation.

The current charge is a third-degree felony punishable by a maximum of five years in prison.
