Police say the officer was completing a traffic stop at 1:40 p.m. near Wolf River Boulevard and Miller Farms Road when he heard gunfire, then saw two people running toward The Bridges at Germantown apartments. The officer took one person into custody and another was found in the apartment complex a few minutes later by responding officers. No injuries were reported and police are investigating.
