Diamond Member Pelican Press 0 Posted March 25 Diamond Member Share Posted March 25 Rise of Hydra Has Better Graphics Than ****** Panther’s T’Challa vs Killmonger ****** Scene Recently, Marvel made one of the most surprising announcements of 2024, and no, this was not an announcement for a new move but a brand-new gameplay trailer for a video game. This title is called Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and it is being helmed by none other than Amy Hennig, the same person behind the original Uncharted trilogy of games. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is a brand-new action-adventure title set in the World War II era. It would feature the likes of Captain America and ****** Panther. It is being developed by Skydance New Media, and its visuals are just mind-blowing. This is no surprise, given the fact that this game is actually built on Unreal Engine 5. While the game has only been announced recently, fans have already started comparing it with some other forms of media. Fans can’t help but compare Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra with a superhit MCU movie. Marvel 1943 is set in the World War 2 era. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is said to be loosely based on the Captain America/****** Panther: Flags of Our Fathers series of comics. This story stars ****** Panther Azzuri and Steve Rogers. It would be set in occupied Paris, and the two would be forced to create an alliance to combat the rise of Hydra. Coming back to its visuals, the game features some very detailed sequences and lifelike character models. As characters transverse through the map and engage in combat, it looks pretty realistic. So much so that the comparisons have already started, and that too with a live-action Marvel movie. The MCU’s ****** Panther launched back in 2018, and it was an incredible movie in almost every way. It had beautiful visuals, excellent direction, and mind-blowing music. To top it all, Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan gave their fans mind-blowing performances. One thing that did not sit well with its fans was its VFX, which was also in just one place. Fans did not like the cinematic battle between the Killmonger and the ****** Panther. Some compared it to very bad-looking games; others just let their disappointment be known. But no one was loving those visuals. The moment this trailer for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was released, fans started their comparison. They have taken it upon themselves to let others know how this game looks miles better than that one scene in the movie. A still from Marvel 1943. It’s an unusual comparison, too; one of them is a six-year-old movie that was an excellent experience for its fans. Another is a brand-new video game made with cutting-edge technology that powers most modern games nowadays. Does this comparison even stand? Even if ****** Panther was a bit rough at the end, it was still an entertaining movie with excellent writing and exceptional performances by all of its actors. Hence, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra might look excellent, but this game would have to match ****** Panther in other aspects, too, such as story and excellent performances. Let’s see where it goes from here. There is a whole chain of Marvel titles incoming A still from Marvel 1943. Besides the release of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, there are a bunch of other titles based on Marvel properties. Fans are most excited about the Iron Man game that is currently in development. It looks like, in the coming years, fans will not have time to take a breather. Let’s not forget those Insomniac titles, Wolverine, and many more. Let’s hope these games launch pretty soon, as there’s a lack of excellent Marvel games in the market at this move.
