Slight lift in Aussie jobless rate in June unlikely to spook Reserve Bank

Australia’s jobless rate lifted narrowly to 4.1 per cent in June — but the *********** Bureau of Statistics reckons the labour market is still strong.

That’s an increase of 0.1 percentage points from May. The jobless rate is still lower than what most economists think is a sustainable long-term level.
