Among the most important announcements and presentations, the State of Unreal (Engine) itself stood out. The Unreal Engine from Epic Games introduced its new 5.4 update with a lot of new features. With the reveal of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra in action, the State of Unreal conference confirmed that all cinematic elements of this title were rendered in real-time, giving a glimpse of the power that Unreal Engine 5 has for future updates and games. data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=MetaHuman technology can now be added to Fortnite. This was revealed at the State of Unreal 2024 at the GDC. Epic Games is really taking advantage of all the perks that Unreal Engine 5 has. Also, after the first reveal trailer, the environment of this game was shown in more detail, thanks to the director of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Amy Hennig. The attention to detail in the level design, which renders every piece of clothing, rock, and particle with amazing realism, is one of the game’s key elements. Thanks to the new Unreal Engine 5.4, the nanites, faces, and animation have surpassed all expectations from the Unreal team, giving an incredible level of perfection when the characters interact.
