An Ipswich woman who was allegedly murdered in an act of domestic ********* has been remembered as the “light and joy of any gathering” as her loved ones raise funds to give her the “send off she deserves”

Kierra-Lea Jensen was found ***** in her Leichhardt home on Monday after police were called to the property to conduct a ******** check.

Police confirmed the 28-year-old was found with multiple stab wounds.

“I know she would have put up one ***** of a ****** for her life,” Mr Midgley wrote.

“She didn’t deserve to tragically have her life taken”

Mr Midgley described Ms Jensen as “loud” and “rambunctious” and reflected on her selfless and “caring” nature.

“Kierra-Lea organised our family events and bought decorations, cakes and would step in if others couldn’t afford to contribute,” he said.

“Kierra took care of us all when we needed it. Drives to the doctors or hospital, she wouldn’t leave your side until she knew you were okay.”

Mr Midgley said Ms Jensen was one of six children and the first daughter to be born after four brothers.

“She was a sibling, an aunty, a cousin, and the best friend anyone could ask for,” he said.

Speaking generally, Mr Midgley urged everyone to support victims of domestic ********* and recognise the warning signs.

“Please step up and protect those that speak out, ask for help and those too scared, look for the warning signs and don’t leave any warning or sign unturned,” he said.

Mr Midgley said Ms Jensen’s family would be appreciative of any donations made towards the fund.
