Sunshine Coast man Tom Feldman remembered after losing battle with brain *******

A Queensland man who had only become a father four weeks before he ***** from brain ******* is being remembered as living a life filled with love.

Tom Feldman was first diagnosed with brain ******* in January 2020.

After completing surgery, chemo and radiation, doctors told Mr Feldman and his partner of 10 years, Tarsha, the results had stabilised.

Months later, the loved up couple married but happiness quickly turned to tragedy once more when Mr Feldman was diagnosed again with brain ******* in November 2023.

Doctors told Mr and Mrs Feldman that would be difficult for them to conceive naturally due to his ******* treatment and her polycystic ovary syndrome.

So they were over the moon when Mrs Feldman fell pregnant with their first child.

But when Mrs Feldman was 16 weeks pregnant, doctors told the newlyweds that Mr Feldman now had multiple tumours, one of which was inoperable

While still reeling from the heartbreaking news the couple welcomed the “most beautiful little girl” in May 2024.

However, a week later, Mr Feldman was admitted to the palliative ward at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and later moved to Dove House at Caloundra.

Sadly, Mr Feldman lost his battle with ******* four weeks after his miracle baby was born.

Family friend Courtney Robertson, who set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover ******** costs for Mr Feldman, said the 31-year-old would be “incredibly missed”.

“The love that Tarsha and Tom have for each other is one that you read about in books or see in movies,” Ms Robertson said.

“They grew together from 19 year olds to recently 31 year olds, starting their family.

“Their love for each other was evident right to the last moment, and was absolutely undeniably electric.”

Ms Robertson remembered her friend as a person who always made her laugh.

“Tom, thank you for having a wicked sense of humour and for having me laughing constantly,” she said on the GoFundMe campaign.

“For your strength and for allowing Tarsha to be herself.”
