As EA Sports College Football Arrives, Fans Put to Bed the Game That Held Them Over During the Long Drought

EA Sports is breaking its 11-year hiatus and is coming back with the beloved Sports College Football. While anticipation for the new game is high, this has also given fans the opportunity to put one game back on the shelf, which has been serving them for a long time.

The NCAA Football 14 is considered one of the best games in the series and has held the fort in the absence of any new game. This has become a bittersweet moment for fans but a much-needed change since it was released ten years back.

Although EA Sports College Football is Here, Fans Won’t Forget NCAA Football 14

There is no doubt that EA Sports College Football is expected to take the community by storm and make a name in the sports genre. Since the last installment came out in 2013, significant enhancements are expected from the title, especially regarding visuals and smoothness.

Amidst all the noise about the game, it’s worth pointing out that one game has been there for all the fans for a long time. NCAA 14 is not only the last College Football game in the series but is also considered one of the best. Naturally, in the absence of any new game in the past decade, fans still relish the old faithful.

Unfortunately, this lovely affair is soon going to end with the release of EA SPORTS College Football 25. The new game’s enhancements to practically every department will overshadow NCAA 14, so most fans will move away from it.

EA Sports College Football is Missing One Feature that Features Madden Boasts

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows for the game, as it has one major drawback. The game doesn’t use authentic headshots of players; instead, you’ll get to see generic avatars.

Given that Madden uses accurate headshots of the players, it’s somewhat bizarre that College Football is not doing the same. However, there is a chance that this feature will be added later in the game. Furthermore, with real college football getting attention like never before due to the rise of social media, this is a must-do for EA.

Expectations are high for the game, and it would be interesting to see how the franchise is tackled moving forward. Although different at the core, the game will compete with Madden for the most loved football title.
