Fisherman bitten by sea snake off Darwin coast airlifted to Broome

A man bitten by a sea snake off the coast of Darwin on Monday morning has been airlifted to Broome for treatment.

According to the *********** Maritime Safety Authority, a CareFlight Northern Territory fishing vessel trawling in the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf, about 360 kilometres south-west of Darwin made contact with AMSA at around 9.45am (NT time) on July 15.
