Donnell Wallam’s Queensland Firebirds closed out their Super Netball season with a loss to high-flying Melbourne Vixens at Nissan Arena on Saturday.

The Harvey product had an enthralling battle with Vixen Rudi Ellis in her final game of the campaign, nailing seven super shots in a 41-goal effort, but could not lift her side over the line as they suffered a 62-52 defeat.
