during the women’s final of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Zendaya is promoting her upcoming movie, Challengers, where she plays a former tennis star-turned-coach set to debut on April 26.

The actress posed for photos alongside the 2024 women’s champion, Iga Swiatek. Zendaya’s boyfriend actor Tom Holland joined her for the final round of tennis where Poland’s Swiatek beat Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0 to win the Indian Wells WTA title for the second time.

Challengers also stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist and is directed by “Call Me By Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino. The plot involves tennis player turned coach Tashi (Zendaya)  who marries Art (Mike Faist) and turns him into a famous Grand Slam champion. He falls into a rut and to get him out of his losing streak she enters him in a “Challenger” event, a low level pro tournament, where he has to play his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend (Josh Connor).
