Country championships: South West reclaim division one title with 11-point final win over Avon

The division one country championships title is back in the South West after the region’s team reclaimed the honour with an 11-point championships final win over Avon at Sullivan Logistics Stadium.

A rematch of last year’s decider proved every bit as pulsating as the original but last year’s beaten finalists made amends for their 2023 defeat with a 7.8 (50) to 5.9 (39) victory.
