A teenage driver charged with causing a catastrophic ****** that ******* his mate and seriously injured his other young passengers has been granted bail with the magistrate saying she could not imagine how the group involved was coping.

The 17-year-old driver, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced Perth Children’s Court on Monday from a hospital bed with his father by his side after being charged with dangerous driving occasioning the ****** of his friend Nick Campo.
