Shire of Wiluna reels from suspension of operations at Mt Keith nickel mine

The suspension of operations at the Mt Keith nickel mine is a “devastating” situation for the Shire of Wiluna, president Peter Grundy says.

BHP on Thursday announced the shutdown of its entire Nickel West division, which includes the Mt Keith open-pit mine 85km south of the northern Goldfields town.
