Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2 has been a groundbreaking title in the live-service genre and despite several issues plaguing it, the game has managed to be relevant and fans are still having a lot of fun fighting bots and bugs.

Boosters are one of the most important part of the loadout that help players out on the battlefield. While they are good additions, players do not like the basic ones as they take up space and remove the gameplay variety.

Boosters in Helldivers 2 are buffs that players equip before they jump for missions, just like Stratagems. There are several different kind of boosters that players can choose between the squad and these are spread across the squad members that will help them succeed in their missions.

These boosters do not expire and can be purchased using Medals. However, it seems like players are not with happy with equipping the basic boosters. One player on Helldivers 2 subreddit said they pick basic boosters like fully stocked Ammo and Grenades almost every time they go on a mission.

They said these boosters takes space and removes gameplay variety and there are much more better boosters than this. They added that it should become a “permanent thing via level x ship upgrade,” and this is not a bad idea to give players more variety in how they go about a mission.

They further added, “let’s make it boost more if it’s a booster: max carriable mag capacity +20%.” Arrowhead should think about it and it should make changes that the basic boosters needed during the almost every other mission are automatically added to the loadout.

A quite large number of players have agreed with the OP and have said that the basic boosters taking a slot does not make sense anymore once players level up. Players have said they need these basic boosters but they are unable to use others due to the slot being full.

One player said that Arrowhead should allow players to come with full ammo instead of forcing them to equip boosters. They added it will open more booster options for players to use.

Arrowhead really needs to think about this change and make needed changes so that the game ******** interesting to the players.

The game already has many issues and players are already thinking about quitting. Arrowhead and Helldivers 2 can not afford anymore problems.
