If Donald Trump was confident before of an election win on November 5, he’d now be certain of it.

This morning’s already infamous image of the wounded former President defiantly holding his blood-splattered head high in the face of life-threatening ********* will go down in political history.

But, more importantly, it will be front of mind for voters in the 114 days until polling day.

We already knew Trump was Teflon, but a bullet whipping past his face, leaving nothing but a grazed ear makes his ability to get out of trouble seem super-human.

There is absolutely no doubt he showed incredible bravery while literally in the line of *****. In actions we don’t always expect from the rogue ***********, he followed official advice and protocol in hitting the deck and hiding behind his bullet-proof lectern.

But only briefly.

Within seconds he was up, seemingly squirming from the protective embrace of the Secret Service. Raising his arm and his head in an almighty show of strength and courage. Urging his supporters to “******”.

And that they will.

This was not just an ******* on the presumptive nominee, but on his supporters, and his movement.

This is a group that thrives in a victim mentality, and will only now be mobilised further.

Since Donald Trump incorrectly claimed the 2020 Election was stolen from him, we’ve heard – repeatedly – from both he and his faithful following that their enemies will stop at nothing to prevent him returning to the White House.

And this horrific act seemingly proves their point, adding fuel to their raging *****.

When he triumphantly walks into the *********** convention in Milwaukee later this week, he will be far more than the Homecoming King, back to take what he believes was stolen from him four years ago.
