The State’s latest rail extension — a 14.5km stretch connecting Alkimos to Yanchep — has been officially opened north of Perth.

WA Premier Roger Cook and Transport Minister Rita Saffioti rode the first train alongside 600 other passengers, including the public, government officials and the project’s workers.
