The First Descendant’s Missing Mechanic Must Be the First to Be Included in the Next Patch

Nexon’s The First Descendant was released less than 15 days ago and it has already surpassed 10 million players. This proves that the community loves the game but there is one thing that players would like to see in the game: an Auto-run feature.

The combat in The First Descendant is indeed entertaining but constantly pressing the left stick on the controller can get annoying. Many modern video games have this feature so it’s odd that Nexon Games didn’t introduce it in the game since day one.

With The First Descendant gaining more and more players every day, Nexon Games needs to add this one, highly-requested feature. A PS5 player on X has pointed out that there should be a way to toggle Auto run on and off since holding the left stick for way too long can get uncomfortable.

Some players pointed out that the feature exists for PC players as they can toggle Auto Run by just pressing shift. Hopefully, in the next patch fans will be able to use Auto Run on consoles.

The First Descendant was recently criticized for its crazy microtransactions. In order to buy one Ultimate Descendant bundle, players will have to pay up to $100. Fortunately, microtransactions are something that can be avoided, but the game has a lot of other issues that can’t be avoided.

Nexon Games Needs To Address Many More Problems

Apart from Auto Run, there are a lot of things that need to be addressed in the next patch for The First Descendant. The biggest issue in the game right now is hackers, Nexon Games needs to implement better methods that can take down these cheaters who are ruining the game.

Many players have also pointed out that some elements of the game are still not balanced, plus some players are also facing technical issues.

The First Descendant was released on 2nd July 2024 and it is undoubtedly one of the most popular games in the world right now, however, if Nexon Games wishes to see more progress, they need to fix these issues in the next patch.

Right now, the most popular character in The First Descendant is Bunny and if you like to use Bunny, then make sure you don’t forget that you have this one important ability that the rest of the community wants you to use.

What else do you think Nexon Games needs to add to The First Descendant? Share your ideas in the comments!
