The most premium of the segments, Game Pass Ultimate, will be priced at $19.99 per month, up from $16.99. Game Pass Core will also get a price hike, from $59.99 to $74.99 a year. However, the monthly charge for Core ******** the same ($9.99).

Last but not least, PC Game Pass subscribers will also have to face the price hike, as this plan will be priced at $11.99 per month. When it comes to changes, the biggest one has to be that new users will not be able to access Game Pass for Console. Existing users are not at stake, as their subscriptions will run normally without any stoppage.

But for new users, there will be a new tier on the console named Game Pass Standard, which will cost $14.99. However, the difference from this tier with the previous Game Pass for Console will be that the new one won’t have new games on day one. All of these new changes and price hikes will take effect from September 12, 2024.
