Anxiety Aunt: Help! My friend from work hasn’t asked me to be on her quiz team

Dear Aunty,

My best friend from work has secured a coveted table for our company’s fundraising quiz night but she hasn’t invited me to be on the table. I heard from another work friend that she is gatekeeping seats for people she thinks will increase her table’s chances of winning. I am offended that she doesn’t want me at her table and also that she obviously thinks I am not smart enough to make the cut. I am not sure whether to bring it up with her or not. It is already impacting our friendship as I have been avoiding her because I feel so uncomfortable about the situation. What should I do?
