From southbound I-5 full closure: Take Arena Boulevard (EXIT 524) stay left onto EB Arena Blvd, make a right onto SB Truxel Road, stay right and take San Francisco 80 West on-ramp, stay right and take Los Angeles I-5 South Connector ramp (EXIT 86). From eastbound I-80 to northbound I-5: Stay on eastbound I-80 and exit at Truxel Road. Make a left onto Truxel Road, move over to the right lane, and take the onramp to westbound I-80. Take the northbound I-5 connector towards Redding. The primary contractor for the work in Roseville is Ghilotti Construction Company, and according to Caltrans, the construction along I-80 is expected to be completed by fall 2024. Once completed, the interstate will have an auxiliary lane on eastbound I-80 between State Route 65 and Rocklin Road and include a two-lane off-ramp. “A fifth lane will be constructed on westbound I-80 between Douglas Boulevard and Riverside Avenue and include reconfiguring the Douglas off-ramp from two lanes to one lane,” Caltrans added.
