Army veteran and award-winning journalist Matt Moran is set to throw his hat into a second ******** preselection after failing in a bid to be chosen to take on independent Kate Chaney in Curtin.

The West understands that vet Holly Ludeman, one of the faces of the Keep the Sheep campaign, and lawyer Jonathan Crabtree are also considering entering what could be a three-cornered contest.
