) — Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price announced that Shane Parrish Killian, 54, was charged for allegedly ******** four of his family members and wounding his one-year-old son on Friday.

The charges follow events from Killian’s house on Kitty Hawk Road in Alameda, which became a quadruple ********* scene Wednesday night, according to police.

Mystery surrounds motive for ******* of Alameda family

According to Price’s office, Killian is charged with the following:

******* (four counts)

Attempted *******

Corporal injury to a relationship partner

Elder or dependent ****** ******

Infliction of injury

Possession of an ******** *******

Possession of an unconventional *******

“Numerous” enhancements

The complaint alleges that Killian “intentionally” discharged a **** that ******* his six-year-old son, his wife, and both of his parents-in-law. The complaint also alleges that the father also shot his one-year-old son, who is being treated at the hospital for life-threatening injuries.

“This is an unimaginable act of ********* that leaves us all heartbroken for this family and for theCity of Alameda community members shocked and traumatized by this tragedy,” said DAPamela Price. “Domestic ********* is an insidious problem in our society, which is exacerbatedwith deadly consequences when there are guns in the home.”

The DA’s office said Killian could face more than 231 years in prison if convicted and sentenced to all charges.

On Thursday, a baseball and baseball bat were included alongside stuffed animals and flowers outside of the family’s house on Kitty Hawk Road. Handwriting on the baseball from the boy’s coach said, “To William. Game ball.”
